Our client is a well-known FMCG manufacturer for some of the biggest brands in the world. Located in Sydney, this is an exciting role whereby you will assist in the development of new product formulations that will shortly thereafter hit the shelfs of the local supermarkets. 

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Contribute towards the development and implementation of end-to-end lean manufacturing process.
• Develop new formula, optimise/reformulate existing products and support subsequent scale-up in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
• Perform formulation validation and manage studies on the stability of products.
• Create, review and approve technical document reports.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support to relevant areas of the business.
• Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.

To be successful in your application, you must have:

• Advanced university degree in chemistry, biomedical engineering or equivalent.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. 
• Experience in a product development related role within the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic or related industry.
• Experience with scaling up of products from pilot batches to manufacturing.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
